Man steals TV as collateral for stolen gaming system: Brunswick Hills Township Police Blotter –

Theft: Substation Road
A man reported the theft of a 60-inch television from his home Sept. 20.
Police questioned the suspect, who said he took the TV as “collateral” for a gaming system the caller reportedly had taken from another man. The suspect added that the TV was damaged during a struggle with the caller.
Police were determining whether the case was criminal or civil in nature.
Disorderly conduct: Pearl Road
Police escorted an unruly person from a bar at 9:51 p.m. Sept. 23. A loaded 9mm handgun inside the person’s car was also confiscated by police. The person was told they could pick the gun up at a later date.
Disturbance: Memory Lane
Police responded to a reported fight between a man and his son at 8:19 a.m. Sept. 22. Officers determined that the fight was not physical in nature and there were no injuries.
Theft: Pearl Road
Management at Seal Rite Glass reported the catalytic converter stolen from a work van sometime between 4 p.m. Sept. 22 and 8 a.m. Sept. 23. There were no suspects at the time of the report.
